Land · Art · Soul · Sisterhood

A living landscape to awaken the unseen deeper womanness within.

At the River Sanctuary—home of Dragoness Rising. In a wild Canadian wetland river valley, we are creating immersive, interactive spaces to activate a deeper womanness.

Large installations emerge from the land itself, becoming portals into feminine knowing—places where the veil between the seen and unseen feels thin, and where we can experience more of our being and what lies beyond it.

The Sanctuary sits in a place known as Angels Valley, where many have encountered something they can only describe as divine. Here, land, water, sky and light become part of the experience.

Sculpture. Stairs. Decks. And the wild beauty of land unaltered. An invitation to remember.

Interact with light. Listen to water. Walk in beauty. Connect to your soul language. Feel the movement of your being.

An afternoon with nowhere to be

The cabin

A handcrafted log cabin, thirty metres from the water.

Built by hand from logs, the cabin is where the Sanctuary rests—wood walls, a brick fireplace, and windows that hold the river and the night sky. It sleeps four, sits a short walk from the swimming hole and the firepit circle, and stays quiet enough to hear the water from bed.

Beyond the river, the land keeps you

Explore forest trails, wetlands and scenic viewpoints across the sanctuary. This is wild, almost-untouched country—alive with birdsong, animal tracks and quiet moments of wonder.

Abundant wildlife

White-tailed deer, moose and beavers call this sanctuary home. Watch bald eagles soar overhead, listen for the haunting calls of great horned owls, spot kingfishers racing along the river, and keep an eye out for woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches and colourful warblers among the trees. In the deeper forest, black bears, cougars and countless other wild creatures continue to roam as they have for generations.

A land that holds you

There's a quiet magic to this place—something you feel the moment you arrive. The river slows you. The forest steadies you. The wildlife reminds you that you are a guest in something ancient, alive and beautifully untamed.

Everyone who comes feels the magic of this land—
and leaves transformed.
